Patient & Caregiver:
Multiple Myeloma
Multiple Myeloma (MM) is a type of blood cancer affecting B cells, a type of white blood cell that is part of the immune system. These cells produce abnormal antibodies (called M proteins), which can collect in the kidneys and damage bones, affecting the body’s ability to fight infections and make healthy blood cells in the bone marrow. Staying up to date on the latest available therapies can help you make decisions that are best for you.
Learn more about MM, how it is treated, and important advances in current and emerging treatment by exploring different topics within the portal. High-definition animations and other tools can be found in HD Visual Learning.
